This guide will walk you through and familiarize you with how to change/update your password in Thunderbird for Windows.
How to update your password.
In Thunderbird at the right side you will find 3 horizontal lines. That is the Thunderbird Menu.
Click on the Thunderbird Menu
Select Options and then Options again
In the Option screen select Security and then click on Saved Passwords.
In the Saved Passwords section you will need to locate your Sync account. Select your Sync account and Click on Remove and click on Close
Click on OK.
This is important you now must close Thunderbird at this point.
After Thunderbird closes you will then need to re-open Thunderbird where it will prompt you to type in your password for your Sync account.
Check Use Password Manager if you want Thunderbird to remember the new password.
If you are still not getting any response you may need to check with us at email@example.com to see if your account has been suspended due to failed log-in attempts.
